Carr Manor in Cripple Creek, Colorado, is a 14-room boutique hotel that is operated as a bed and breakfast style inn, with a 6-room annex at the Last Dollar just cross the street.


It is our primary goal to make your historic Cripple Creek travel experience a pleasant and memorable one. Whether you are visiting on a Colorado vacation, a business trip, or for a special event such as a wedding or reunion, we look forward to providing you with lodging to suit your travel needs.


Please review the following policies and do not hesitate to contact us with additional questions or concerns.


Cancellations:

Please note the following cancellation policy: All cancellations made two weeks or more prior to arrival date will result in a deposit refund less a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to arrival date will forfeit entire deposit amount unless we are able to rebook the reservation dates. A $25 processing fee will apply.


No shows and/or early departures will be charged the full amount of the reservation amount. Carr Manor recommends that our guests secure travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellation costs. Our cancellation policy is different during special events, holidays and for group bookings. 30-day advanced notice is required.


Payment:

Confirmed reservations will be held with a valid credit card. Full payment is due at time of check-in. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.

 

Deposits:

For holidays and special occasions, an advance deposit of 50% of the entire reservation will be charged to your credit card upon confirmation of the reservation.

 

Reservation confirmation:

When you successfully submit a reservation request, we will contact you within 24 hours via e-mail or telephone to confirm your reservation. If you do not hear from us within 24 hours, please call us at 719-689-3709.


Check-in/out:

Check-in time is from 4-7 p.m. Early check-in to drop off luggage can be arranged. If you are arriving after 7 p.m. we will leave you information to check in yourself. We request all guests telephone ahead on the day of arrival to confirm their specific check-in time.


Check-out time is 11 a.m. If you desire to explore the area after check-out, arrangements can be made to store your bags until the time of your departure.


Minimum stay requirements:

A minimum stay of two nights is required for holiday or special event weekends. Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas, or New Year's weeks may require a minimum stay of three nights.


Mobility and medical issues:

We are NOT wheel chair accessible and stair climbing is required. There are steps to our front porch from the sidewalk. We do not have an elevator. As a result we are NOT suitable for those with mobility or medical issues who have difficulty climbing stairs.


Left items:

Please check your room before you depart to make sure you take all your belongings. We are not responsible for items that you leave behind. If you forget something important and notify us, and we can find the item, we will send it to you for the cost of shipping plus a $10 service charge. Left items are kept for only one month.


Breakfast:

A full breakfast is served between 8 and 9 a.m.; a continental breakfast is available until 10 a.m. If you have any dietary restrictions, please call us at 719-689-3709 to alert us of your needs.


Children:

We designed the Inn to primarily be a romantic get away for mature adults; we do allow children over the age of 12 but they require their own room as all of our rooms only accommodate two guests. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, parents must supervise their children at all times and keep them from running, jumping and shouting while inside the inn.


Alcohol:

Under Colorado Law, we are not allowed to sell alcoholic beverages. We do have a Colorado Bed and Breakfast License that allows us to serve guests without charging them or as a part of a package. Guests may bring their own alcohol, but for the safety and comfort of all other guests, please drink responsibly. We are not responsible for any accidents by those who have been drinking on the premises.


Smoking:

We are a non-smoking facility. Guests who do smoke, must do so outside the building. There is a $500 per day charge for those guests who smoke anywhere in the building. Although the entire cost of your stay has been paid for ahead of time, you will be required to provide your credit card at Carr Manor at the time of check-in so that we can enforce this policy.

 

Pets:

The owners, when in residence, have a well-behaved and restricted to the owners area Gordon Setter, “Snow”. Regrettably, guest pets are not permitted in the Inn.

Rates include a complementary continental breakfast and use of several common areas in the house. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Check in is normally from 4-6 p.m.; later times can be arranged.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.

Checkout is 11 a.m.

Regulations limit guest room occupancy to a maximum of 2 persons.

Accommodations are not suitable for children and pets are not allowed.

The Last Dollar Inn is a non-smoking inn.

Payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Amex accepted.
